Privacy Policy

Moon Journey is made by Aarsh Innovations LLC (“we”). This policy covers the Moon Journey app for iPhone and this website, moonjourney.app. It explains what the app keeps on your iPhone, and what it never does.

What stays on your iPhone

• The name you give for the crew list.
• The flight you are following and when you started its countdown.
• Your choices, such as notifications and quiet nights.
• A note that you have bought the journey, once you have.

These are kept only on your device and are removed when you delete the app. We never receive them.

What the app never does

• No accounts, and nothing to sign in to.
• No advertising, no analytics and no tracking, by us or by anyone else.
• No data sent anywhere. Everything the app shows is worked out on your iPhone from data that comes with it.

The purchase

The one purchase in the app, Continue the Journey, is made through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment under its own privacy policy. The app never sees your name, your Apple Account or your payment details; it keeps only the note on your iPhone that the journey is yours.

Notifications

If you turn them on, the app schedules its notifications on your iPhone itself. No server is involved, and nothing about them leaves your device.

Photos

When you press the camera button, the app saves a picture of the view to your photo library. It asks only to add photos: it cannot see, read or change anything already in your library, and it never takes a photograph by itself. You can change your answer at any time in Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Photos.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. It is served by Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like any web server, it keeps ordinary server logs, which include your IP address, the page asked for, the time and your browser's description, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use those logs to identify you. Google handles them under its own privacy policy.

If you write to us, we use your message and your email address only to answer you.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date before the change reaches the app.
